Established in 1970, The Finn World Masters is the class championship for Finn sailors between the ages of 40 to 82 years old. Many of the sailors have done Olympic campaigns in the past, but carry on racing their 4.5 metre singlehanded dinghy because of the friendly first class competition it offers. The event attracts sailors from all over the globe ranging from 100-200 entrants.
Doyle Sails was thrilled to see so many of our customers participate in the week long event set in the gorgeous tropical waters of Barbados. Although the conditions on the water were tricky with 18-22 knots of wind mixed with short chops and huge swells, the fleet of 140 managed to perform top class sailing.
Congratulations to all who placed!
