Doyle Sails New Zealand is a market-leading sailmaker, part of a global franchise, producing innovative sails that are distributed around the world. Based in Auckland, Doyle's 7000sqm loft is the biggest in the southern hemisphere, and is also home to the innovative Stratis sail membrane facility. Building cutting edge sails for yachts of all sizes, from dinghies to superyachts, Doyle has gone from strength to strength and is looking to build on its existing market presence.
Reporting to our CEO and Managing Director this is a varied role encompassing marketing, communications and PR and working primarily with our New Zealand team but also with the Doyle global network to help promote our product. Your week will include everything from writing press releases and newsletters to co-ordinating marketing campaigns, social media, updating the website and organising event sponsorship and trade show presence. You will be required to manage the marketing budget and oversee and help develop all marketing activity.
The right candidate will need to be able to work autonomously, take initiative and work closely with senior management and the team to ensure that we are maximising all marketing opportunities. Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or similar and a minimum of two years of experience in the work place. You will have uncompromising written communication and proofing skills, with experience writing for both print and web and a fresh energy for driving our social media presence forwards.

This is a full time position based out of our Auckland Avondale loft. Salary dependent on experience.
